LABORATORY MAGNETIC SEPARATION · INDUCED ROLL

MAGNALIFT

Digitally controlled lift-type induced roll separation for precise, repeatable recovery of weakly magnetic minerals and materials.
TYPE

Induced roll separator

PARTICLE SIZE

1–0.074 mm

AVERAGE CAPACITY

50 kg/h

MAGNETIC FIELD

Up to 18,000 gauss

PRECISION SEPARATION

SEPARATE WEAKLY MAGNETIC MINERALS WITH REPEATABLE CONTROL.

The MAGQUIP MAGNALIFT is a high-intensity lift-type induced roll separator designed for laboratories, research facilities, universities, pilot plants and mineral-processing test centres.
Material is introduced by a controlled vibratory feeder into a precisely adjustable magnetic field. Ferromagnetic and weakly magnetic particles are lifted, while non-magnetic material follows its natural trajectory.
+ Ilmenite from chromite

+ Monazite and other rare-earth minerals

+ Magnetic placer minerals and super-alloy powders

+ Natural and synthetic diamond fractionation

CONTROLLED LABORATORY SEPARATION

HIGH-INTENSITY SEPARATION WITH DIGITAL CONTROL.

The MAGNALIFT combines precise magnetic-field adjustment with controlled feed and roll speed, delivering repeatable separation results for mineral and powder samples.

WHY MAGNALIFT

BUILT FOR ACCURATE MATERIAL CHARACTERISATION.

Designed for dependable laboratory testing, operator safety and repeatable separation results across a wide range of mineral and powder samples.
01

DIGITALLY REGULATED FIELD

PLC-controlled DC excitation provides precise, repeatable magnetic-field adjustment.
02

ADJUSTABLE OPERATING CONTROLS

HMI control of magnetic field strength, feed rate and roll speed supports accurate test setup.
03

CLOSED-LOOP STABILITY

A protection sensor continuously monitors coil temperature while field regulation maintains stable operating conditions.
OPERATING CONTROL

ADJUST THE FEED, FIELD AND ROLL SPEED FOR EACH SAMPLE.

HMI CONTROL

Digital operating control

Set and monitor magnetic field strength, feed rate and roll speed from the integrated HMI for repeatable test conditions.

SEPARATION ZONE

Adjustable induced roll system

The vibratory feeder presents material to the adjustable field, where magnetic particles lift and non-magnetic material follows its natural trajectory.
LABORATORY ENGINEERING
CONSTRUCTION

ENGINEERED FOR PRECISE, REPEATABLE TESTING.

The MAGNALIFT combines controlled material presentation, adjustable magnetic separation and integrated safety systems in a compact laboratory machine.
ENCLOSURE
Compact laboratory enclosure with lifting lugs, guarded access and a top access door for inspection and maintenance.
VIBRATORY FEEDER

Controlled feed presentation with an adjustable rate for consistent material flow into the separation zone.

MAGNETIC ROLL
High-intensity induced magnetic roll delivering up to 18,000 gauss at a 2 mm pole gap.
ADJUSTING POLE
Adjustable pole and splitter settings allow the separation zone and product cut to be tuned for each sample.
SAFETY SYSTEMS

Emergency stop, mains isolator, safety guards, warning labels and coil-temperature protection are integrated into the machine.

POWER SUPPLY
120 VAC or 240 VAC, single phase, 50/60 Hz.
TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

FREQUENTLY ASKED.

Practical setup and operating answers for laboratories planning a MAGNALIFT test programme.

The energised coil creates a diverging magnetic field across the conveyor burden. Ferrous objects are attracted out of the conveyed material and retained by the magnet or discharged by the self-cleaning belt.

In-line placement generally provides the best exposure at the head pulley. Cross-belt installation is practical where the head pulley position is inaccessible or where the discharge arrangement suits transverse cleaning.

Self-cleaning is recommended when tramp iron is frequent enough that manual cleaning would interrupt production or create an unsafe maintenance burden.

Provide conveyor width and speed, burden depth, material type and density, maximum lump size, magnet suspension height, contamination rate, installation orientation and available power supply.

Electrical and mechanical components can be specified around site classification and project requirements. Confirm the hazardous-area classification during enquiry.
